RESIDENCE Output I

This is a suburban house built in a residential area on the border between Kyoto and Nara prefectures. The planned site, including the surrounding area, is very neatly divided, and there are almost no buildings, so it is easy to mistake which site is the planned site. We planned a house with a bike pit built into such a site, which is characterized by its lack of features. The owner owns several bikes as a hobby, and his main request was to be able to store and maintain them indoors. Therefore, for this house, we decided on the layout of the interior space based on the building shape, which is somewhat predictable, as to what buildings will be built around it because it is a molded site, and then proceeded with the planning by incorporating a bike pit into it. Unlike a site with various special conditions = a plan within a given program, this house is one in which we predicted as many programs as possible and reflected the answers derived from them in the plan.
